Summer 2025 Staff Training and Development Opportunities
The Office of Human Resources is proud to host Staff Development Week, June 2-5. The event offers an opportunity for professional development and community building for staff across the University of Missouri (UM) System. Throughout the week, invited speakers will present information and insights on high-demand topics during four days of virtual sessions. Learn more and register.

Take advantage of sessions focused on enhancing your skills in navigating change, giving and receiving feedback, and stakeholder engagement. All sessions are offered in a convenient online format. Call for Volunteers: Help Welcome New Students at Orientation
Summer Orientation season is quickly approaching, and we're seeking volunteers to assist with check-in at each session. This role is essential in helping incoming students and their guests feel welcomed and supported.
Volunteer duties may include providing directions from the parking garage to the Student Union, greeting guests at the entrance, assisting with check-in, handing out swag, and staffing the breakfast table. Shifts run June through August from 7:45 to 9 a.m.

Final 2024-25 UMKC Staff Council Meeting June 4, 8:30 a.m.
Staff Council meetings are open to all. Meetings are typically held the first Wednesday of each month, 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., both in person and via Zoom.
The final 2024-25 meeting is scheduled for June 4 in Bloch Heritage Hall (BHH) Room 006 and via Zoom. The theme of the meeting is Pride Month, so dress in your favorite pride colors or accessories.
