Dear MCC Members and Colleagues,
The Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science (HWSPH) in partnership with the Moores Cancer Center (MCC) Cancer Control Program invites proposals for pilot awards that cross-cut public health and cancer control. Please see the attached file for details.
These are one-year competitive awards to UC San Diego faculty to enhance collaborations between MCC members and HWSPH faculty. Each proposal can have up to two PIs. For the PIs or Co-Is of the proposals, one must be a member of Cancer Control at MCC and one must have a faculty or project/research scientist appointment in HWSPH. The PI can be both an MCC member and have an appointment in HWSPH to fulfill this requirement.
A total of $30,000 is available for this funding cycle. Budgets of either $15,000 or $30,000 may be proposed and one or two proposals may be selected for funding.
