Look, Wilson: Cox Media VP/Oklahoma-Arkansas Jason Wilson has joined iHeartMedia as Area Pres./Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas & Missouri. He assumes duties that had been held in part by Clyde Bass (CAT 11/4). Wilson spent seven years with Cox following time at Sinclair and Journal/Wichita.

Vox Pros: VOX AM/FM/Digital/Burlington, VT VP/Sales David Goddette has been elevated to VP/GM for the cluster, which includes Country WCPV. He succeeds John Mullett, who has taken a position outside the industry. Goddette has been with the cluster 16 years. Concurrently, Griffin Resoures VP/Sales Tim Dodd joins the cluster as GSM, marking a return to both radio sales and the market.

Gig Alert: Mountain Dog Media WFON/Fond du Lac, WI Brand Mgr. Chanda Lynn is seeking a co-host to join her in mornings, succeeding Trace “Moose” Moustakas, who departed last month for a new gig with a sports media company in Dallas. Moustakas joined WFON in 2022 after two years at Top 40 KOYY/Fargo, ND (CAT 10/3/22). Lynn is looking for someone who "believes culture is king and also enjoys producing great local radio." Reve-News: Beasley reported Q3 2024 net revenues of $58.2 million, down 3.2% from $60.1m the same period last year. Operating income was $1.2m, compared to a loss of $85.5m last year. Digital revenue increased from $11.2m to $11.3m. "The ongoing success of our digital transformation strategy continues to serve as an important offset to continued challenges in the audio advertising spot market," says CEO Caroline Beasley. Lasting Legacy: Cumulus WVLK/Lexington PD/midday host Deidre Ransdell received the Karl Shannon Legacy Award during the Oct. 26 Kentucky Music Hall of Fame ceremony in Renfro Valley, KY. The award honors the legacy of the late programmer and personality Karl Shannon, and recognizes both philanthropic efforts and radio craft. Ransdell is an advocate for children and veteran organizations.
