Giving Day 2024 is Tuesday!

The fourth-annual UT Health Science Center Giving Day is Tuesday, April 23! The 24-hour campaign encourages students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to support the university with financial contributions of any size. The goal of this year’s campaign is to raise funds from 1,000 donors in support of the university and its mission to create a healthier Tennessee.

Our students continue to do amazing things, and you deserve some appreciation for all your hard work! Student Appreciation Day is set for Tuesday, April 23, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in the SAC Breezeway. The event will include free food, games, giveaways, and more!

Register now for the Office of Access and Compliance’s next Book Club at the Center discussion on Thursday, April 25, 12:00 – 1:00 pm, on Zoom. This month’s book is “All In,” an autobiography by Billie Jean King. Registration will remain open until the day of the discussion.

Free Outdoor Equipment Rentals

Planning some outdoor time? UT Health Science Center students can rent outdoor equipment for FREE from Campus Recreation. The Outdoors Rental Program offers gear for many of your camping, watersports, and backpacking needs. Call 901.448.2189 to make a rental.

| Complete the Annual HIPAA Training
|
Be sure to complete the annually required HIPAA training by the deadline on Friday, May 31! All UT Health Science Center students, residents, and postdocs must undergo the training on Blackboard each year to comply with federal regulations and UT System policies.
