International Education Week (IEW) 2025 is next week! Join us to stimulate deeper cultural understanding in our community and foster an inclusive worldview. This year’s theme, Lanterns of Harmony: Lighting the Path Across Cultures, celebrates how international education illuminates understanding, fosters empathy, and inspires collaboration across borders. Throughout the week, enjoy a variety of events designed to uplift diverse voices, cultivate cross-cultural friendships, and highlight the many ways our community engages globally. Join us for the International Education Week International Friendly Soccer Game! The event will be a casual, drop-in-style game. There will be free Gatorade for players and prizes for champions and runners-up. RSVP to let us know that you are interested in playing. Spectators are also welcome! Join this drop-in session to get general help with the OPT application process, choosing dates, and travel considerations. For specific eligibility questions, please schedule an appointment with your ISSS adviser. Students should complete the OPT Canvas course before attending the session.

BASE plans to exceed your expectations with our game night, featuring game stations like poker, dominoes, spades, and even different group games that will test your speed and critical thinking! This event is open to all USF community members.

ISSS is monitoring and communicating immigration updates that may affect our international students. Visit our International Student Support web page for updates and resources.

 If you are requesting an immigration document or letter from our office, remember that requests are processed within 10 business days. Make sure you plan accordingly so you have enough time to receive your document before you need it. All ISSS requests should be submitted through the MyISSS student portal (log into your MyISSS account, go to Requests & Documents, and select the appropriate icon on the right side of the page). You can view our MyISSS Student Handbook for assistance with your submission.    

 Click the Chat with ISSS button on the bottom right corner of any ISSS web page, and the ISSS team can assist you with your inquiry.  

Appointments can be made online. Appointments are booked in 20-minute increments. Find upcoming workshops on the ISSS Events and Workshops calendar.
