President Cowley welcomes back faculty and staff
|
Dear UTA faculty and colleagues,
We’re kicking off the fall semester at the best university around—and I don’t mean just in my humble opinion. (Seriously, you can see the proof here and here.)
More students than ever want to be here. We’re welcoming the largest first-year class in our history, with more than 5,000 students. We’re also on track for our highest first-year retention rate ever. Students are choosing to come to and stay at UTA because of the learning and support they receive from our dedicated team.

"Find it, fix it, and flaunt it." contest ends in close race
|
It was a battle to a photo finish in the "find it, fix it, and flaunt it" brand campaign contest. Several departments, including Audit and Consulting Services, made an impact as the checkered flag waived in the competition's final stage.
While the contest for points and prizes has concluded, the campaign to bring old logos up-to-date continues. As we move toward the Dec. 31 deadline, make sure to report and correct logo misuse in our push toward unifying all of campus under effective, consistent branding.
The Marketing, Messaging, and Engagement creative team will host a Munch and Learn event Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Trinity Hall, room 113, where attendees can learn about creating UTA Forms.
The official results of the brand campaign contest will be announced Thursday, Aug. 21. Logos can still be submitted on the Brand Campaign webpage.
