Dear Patients,
The above quotation from one of my favorite authors, recently added to my newly revised website, reflects a core philosophy of my practice. After 31 years of practice, I am more grateful than ever for the privilege of practicing this powerful medicine, and providing care to my Ohana of patients. I remain committed to facilitating whatever health transitions you are going through, and I hope you are all finding the healing you seek and returning home to your wise and amazing selves.
I am now in a transition of my own that feels like a homecoming. For the past 16 years I’ve continuously had either a resident or an associate in my office, and I’m taking great joy in having my solo practice back again, and serving new and established patients. I’m grateful for all of the practitioners I supported over the years, but now I’m expanding my in-person patient-care hours, while reducing the complexity of managing a larger business. I plan to be of service for many more years, as my work is not a job but my life purpose. As always, I thank you for your trust in my care.

New Office Hours: Dr. Steelsmith is now in the office, seeing patients in person, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. She is currently providing telemedicine visits on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
Dr. Steelsmith is Accepting New Patients: She will review all new patient intake forms prior to scheduling, to make sure she is the right fit for each patient’s concerns. As a courtesy to former patients of Dr. Coles who wish to see Dr. Steelsmith, they will not be scheduled as new patients, but as returning patients, until December 15; after that, they will be scheduled as new patients.
New Office Policies and FAQs: These forms have been posted on our website under FORMS. We will have a copy of these policies at our front desk, and we will request that our patients read and sign them at their next visit.
New Office Fees: As of December 1, Dr. Steelsmith’s First Office Visit fee will be $325.00, her Return Office Visit fee will be $198.00, and her Extended Return Office fee will be $225.00. All fees for other services such as prolozone injections, perineural injection therapy, and acupuncture will remain the same.
