Initial Cookie Order Deliveries in Progress |
Initial Cookie Order deliveries run now through February 19. Last week’s edition of The Cookie Press features important delivery prep information. Whether you participate in a Mega Drop or Mini Drop, remember to:
|
- Verify the cookie totals at the delivery location and again before distributing cookies to families.
- For any cookie miscounts, report the issue using the Initial Cookie Order Issue Form within 24 hours of the delivery.
- Set a day and time for families to pick up their inventory. Remind families cookies cannot be delivered until February 20.
-
Provide a receipt or have an email/text to verify the cookie pickup. Remember, a Family Cookie Responsibility Form must be completed before providing families with inventory.
-
Complete a Troop to Girl Transfer in Smart Cookies to credit the family with the packages in the system. Verify the cookies transferred match the receipt.
|
Digital Cookie Shipped Cookie Orders Support |
Digital Cookie online sales have begun, and families may connect with you when their customers have questions on their shipped cookie order. Here’s the scoop on what happens after a customer completes a shipped order:
|
- Once the order is placed, the customer will receive an email confirmation.
- The customer can track their order using the tracking information in their email.
- Cookies arrive generally within 2-15 days, depending on location.
|
Families can direct customers to the Help section in Digital Cookie where they can report any issues. This link is also in their confirmation email.
Note: Shipped cookie orders cannot be cancelled or changed to in-person delivery orders.
|
Care to Share Program & Cookie Season Safety Training Reminders |
The Care to Share Program is a new initiative that offers a pathway for troops to share some or all of their cookie proceeds to support sister troops most impacted by the uncertainties of this season. Plus, troops whose season is impacted can request to receive proceeds from the program. We have two simple forms ready for troops who’d like to share their interest in the program:
|
Reminder: Our final Safety Guidance for In-Person Activities training session is Tuesday, February 17 from 6:30-7:30PM.
You can on gsLearn. After clicking on the direct link, use your MyGS login information to access the course.
|
Cookie Chat Tonight at 7:30PM |
Cookie Chats offer Troop Cookie Volunteers a live platform to get questions answered and receive real-time support throughout the cookie season from the Cookie Team.
Please register to get the link to join here.
|
Here’s a quick rundown on this season’s patch programs. Share these opportunities with your Troop to earn extra cookie patches:
|
B2B (Business to Business) Patch: When a Girl Scout or troop sells cookies to a business, which then gives the cookies as a gift or donates the cookies to a local group. You can find more information on the B2B program in the B2B Flyer. Request the B2B Sales Patch by completing the Business to Business Patch Program form by April 1, 2026.
|
LemonAID Philanthropic Program: At the 130 package sales level, Girl Scouts can choose to support the Care to Share program and receive a special patch.
|
Cookie to Share Program: Girl Scouts can learn about philanthropy and the power of giving back through this new program. Details are still being finalized and will be shared as soon as completed.
For more details on patches and rewards, visit Cookie Central.

Depositing Customer Checks |
When depositing customer checks into a Wells Fargo account, please endorse the back of the check with the following information:
|
- Girl Scouts
- Troop Bank Account Number
- (Juliette Troops will use the account number on their encoded deposit ticket ending in 0544)
-
For Deposit Only – this is optional
|
For all other banks, continue to endorse checks “For Deposit Only” unless instructed differently. All checks can be made payable to Girl Scouts.
|
Supporting Troops at the Start of the Sale |
The start of the sale is a busy time. Here are some tips for supporting your troops:
|
- Remind troops of the importance for families to wait until Cookie Go Day to deliver cookies and begin Cookie Booth sales.
-
Once the families have received their initial cookie order, troops must collect payment for 50% of their current inventory before releasing more inventory.
- Troops must provide families with a receipt any time cookie inventory or money is exchanged.
-
Share the resources for Digital Cookie and provide space for volunteers to get their questions answered.
|
