Mallorie is originally from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. For her this small beach town was a great place to grow up. Some great memories include having a beach so close and endless summers. Ultimately, in her adult years, she decided that a bigger city had more opportunities to offer. Her ambition brought her to Nashville six years ago to attend cosmetology school at the Aveda Institute. As a young adult she did not dream of being a hairstylist but she did know that her passion was pursing something in the creative realm. Once she started cosmetology school she fell in love with doing hair. One thing that stood out was being able to make someone’s day better when they look in the mirror and loved their hair. She also enjoys having new clients come in, getting to know them, and helping them achieve their hair goals. She chose Style House as her salon home because it truly is a family. Mallorie wanted a workplace that had a backbone of teamwork and education and that’s exactly what Style House brings to the table. She draws inspiration from her coworkers, which allows her being around an incredible team every day! Her journey at Style House has allowed her and continues to allow her to have amazing mentors that have helped her grow into the stylist she is now.
Some of her favorite things are enhancing a clients natural hair color. Whether it’s with balayage, highlights or a great hair cut! Balayage is probably what she prides herself in and continues to provide this service most often for her clients. Some future goals include a ton of education! She is a new salon mentor for the Associate program, which she loves because it allows for the growth of all new stylists. Mallorie has also had the opportunity to take some amazing classes this year. Continued education is definitely her passion and it’s something she is really working on growing into.
She would describe herself as Motivated, Helpful, & Kind. Her pet peeve would be to find all the good in anything that might annoy her.
