It’s not too late to register for the Soulsville Heart Health Summit on Friday, August 9, and Saturday, August 10, at the Stax Museum! The summit aims to strengthen connections between primary care and community organizations and identify important next steps for community-driven solutions to social needs.

Intramural Sports Are Back!

Registration is now open for Campus Recreation’s Fall Intramural Sports Program. Sports including pickleball, kickball, dodgeball, flag football, and more are open to all UT Health Science Center students, faculty, staff, and community members. Advisory Board Meeting Tomorrow

The UT Health Science Center Advisory Board will meet tomorrow, August 9, at 11:00 am, in the Mooney Library. The meeting will be conducted in person and will also be available to view via live stream. The meeting agenda is available on the board’s website.

Registration is open for the September Book Club at the Center discussion! Everyone who registers by Thursday, August 15, will be entered to win one of five copies of the book, “Take My Hand” by Dolen Perkins Valdez. Registration will remain open until the day of the discussion, Wednesday, September 25.

The Office of Access and Compliance invites you to take the Civility Pledge in honor of National Civility Month. Those who complete the pledge will receive an invitation to participate in a 10-day civility challenge starting Monday, August 19, and will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Starbucks gift card.
