Boulder Municipal Airport is a general aviation airport for business, private, recreational and emergency aviation services. The city is working to develop a deeper understanding of the community’s desired future for the airport through the Airport Community Conversation, an in-depth engagement process and resulting alternatives analysis.
Â
This past month, the project team hosted an Open House, two Community Working Group meetings, and two bilingual community meetings, and opened up an online questionnaire.
Â
The community has shared a wide range of ideas about the future of the airport and the airport site, ranging from noise reduction strategies to neighborhood-serving uses at the airport site to educational programs at the airport.
