Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA) is now accepting applications for our Wildlife Rehabilitaion Internship program.   Internships are unpaid volunteer positions open to high school graduates that are 18 or over.

Wildlife Care Center
This is a unique and rewarding opportunity as a volunteer intern to learn the care and feeding of wildlife and basic husbandry skills. In addition to hands on experience, interns will receive bi-weekly educational topics for review. A final exit examination is required upon completion of the program.
Time Committment: 12 week semesters, 8 hours per day, 
3 days per week (24 hour per week total)
  • Semester 1: April 28 to July 21
  • Semester 2: May 19 to August 11
  • Semester 3: June 2 to August 25
  • Semester 4: July 7 to September 29
