Annual cookie training keeps you up to speed on program updates, key dates, and your role in the season’s cookie magic! Your Community Product Leader will soon reach out with training options available in your Community/Area. River Valleys is also hosting virtual training sessions in early January. All troop volunteers are welcome to attend these sessions along with completing local training sessions. Register using the links below:

These sessions will be recorded and available in gsLearn. New Troop Cookie Managers should complete the 477 Troop Cookie Basics training in gsLearn prior to attending a training session.

Troop cookie materials will be shipping to Communities the week of December 29. Your Community Product Leader will be in touch to coordinate picking up your troop materials.

🔗Smart Cookies and Digital Cookie Registration Emails |
The Troop Leader and Cookie Manager will receive their registration emails to access Smart Cookies, the online cookie management system for volunteers, the week of December 15. Additional users may be added by contacting River Valleys. All volunteers must have a current membership to be added to Smart Cookies.
Digital Cookie access for Troop Leaders and Cookie Managers begins on January 5. Watch for more details on the important first steps to complete in Smart Cookies and Digital Cookie in a future edition of The Cookie Press.

🏒Girl Scout Night at the Minnesota Frost on January 11 |
We are thrilled to announce Minnesota Frost, MN's Women's Hockey League, as a new booth partner for 2026. Not only will booths be available for games, but they are also hosting a Girl Scout Night on January 11. All tickets include an exclusive patch and are available now through TicketMaster.

Virtual Community Cookie Volunteer Training Starts Tonight |
Join us tonight for one of three virtual Community/Area Cookie Trainings on Zoom. Register anytime, even right up to the start of the session! Register using the links below:

New to the Community Program Leader role? Jump into the 477 Community Product Leaders Basics course in gsLearn before our virtual session to learn the essentials before this training.
📢 Reminder: Community/Area Cookie Training is required for the role. To earn Community Cookie Proceeds, at least one Community Volunteer must complete the training by February 1st.

Cookie Rally Orders Due by December 21 |
Planning a Cookie Rally? It’s time to order! Cookie packages are $2.65 each (cost includes shipping) and will be ACH’d from your Community or Troop account.
Order deadline: December 21. No late orders can be accepted.
Place your order using the Cookie Rally Order Form and explore our Cookie Rally Guide for ideas to make your event unforgettable. A limited supply of cookie reward kits will be available upon request for pickup from the St. Paul Service Center. Kits must be returned after the event in case another Community has requested it.
Orders ship the week of January 19.
