Mic Drop: Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW) has opened applications for its fourth annual, year-long Behind The Mic Mentorship Program. The initiative provides an emerging on-air talent with mentorship and resources, and an opportunity to attend the April 2027 NAB Radio Show in Las Vegas. Female personalities with three-to-five years of on-air experience can apply here by Sept. 30.

Benefit News: Black River Entertainment will open the doors to its Sound Stage Studios Sept. 19 for the inaugural Studios & Stories, a one-day experience connecting children and families to songwriters and artists including Doug Johnson, MaRynn Taylor and Dan Wilson. Proceeds will benefit Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Middle Tennessee.
