Cheer on UTA’s men’s basketball team as they play Utah Valley at College Park Center Thursday, Jan. 16, at 7 p.m. Come to the Corral (student section) for free nachos and drinks, presented by Prince Lebanese Grill. Free shirts will be available to students while supplies last. You can also secure your free shirt at Campus Edge, where they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16.

Check out your textbooks and course materials through the UTA Libraries Course Reserves. Students can borrow course resources through this service at any point during the semester.

Consider applying for a student-led, paid position on the 2025 Homecoming Board of Directors. The Promotions Director is responsible for homecoming marketing and outreach efforts, and the Programs Director solidifies the logistics for the schedule. Each position is required to maintain 19 office hours weekly and attend presentations, trainings, and meetings. Applications are due Monday, Jan. 27. Former football stars Raymond "Wings" Matthews and Joe Ron Young, men's basketball standout Anthony Vereen, the 2001 and 2002 volleyball teams, and the 2007-08 men's basketball team have been selected for the UTA Athletics Hall of Honor. The Hall of Honor class of 2025 will be inducted at a special ceremony Saturday, March 1, at the Crowne Plaza in Arlington at 6 p.m.
