Have you heard of Online Learning in the Second Half: The Online Learning Podcast? In this episode, join our own Dr. Jason Johnston and a colleague from the University of Kentucky, Dr. John Nash, as they close off the 2023 Johns Hopkins University Excellence in Online Teaching Symposium with a live podcast recording. In the podcast, they summarize the day’s sessions and interact with the audience around 6 Pillars of Humanizing Online Learning:
  1. Be human to your students and yourself.
  2. Encourage students to be human to one another.
  3. Create content that is human-centric.
  4. Treat humans as individuals.
  5. Make space for humans.
  6. Recognize that not all humans are present.
