| UMass Lowell Center for Autism Research and Education happenings:
Participate in a study seeking to learn more about the experiences and impact of intersectionality for neurodivergent individuals. The online anonymous questionnaire should take around 15-20 minutes and those who complete it will be entered into a raffle to win one of five $50 Amazon gift cards. “Horizons Plus” College Success Program is for neurodiverse college students and is designed to support students as they navigate through their degree. Students meet as a group online for an hour once a week (Tuesdays 5 to 6 p.m. EST) with trained, experienced UMass Lowell student mentors to guide and support them through a semester at college/university. Students can also meet one-on-one with a mentor during the online meetings for individual support. There is a $100 fee for each program (scholarships are available). Programs will begin in February and end in April. For more information and to request an enrollment form contact: Dr. Ashleigh Hillier, Ph.D.
“The Network” is a social networking group for neurodiverse adolescents and young adults. We meet once a month in-person and once a month online.
