BIDEN-HARRIS ADMIN FORGIVES ADDITIONAL $4.5B IN STUDENT LOANS FOR PUBLIC SERVICE WORKERS
The Biden-Harris Administration announced this week the approval of approximately $4.5 billion in additional student loan relief for over 60,000 borrowers across the country who work in public service, breaking the one million public service workers threshold. In total, this brings the total student loans forgiven to $175 billion for 4.8 million borrowers. This includes nearly 30,000 borrowers in North Carolina.
