The women's basketball team will host Incarnate Word in the first round of the postseason Women's National Invitational Tournament at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at College Park Center. UTA students (plus a guest) will be admitted for free with a valid Mav ID. The first 150 students who come to the student section will receive free nachos!

| Scholarship for natural conservation research
|
The Arlington Conservation Council Endowment for Scholarship and Research is offering a $3,000 scholarship to students interested in conducting undergraduate research pertaining to the conservation of natural resources. Preference will be given to research activities that benefit the city of Arlington, are interdisciplinary and multiorganizational, and leverage the resources of other entities. | Measles titers and vaccines available at UTA Health Services
|
While the threat of measles is low due to most school-aged children and adults being vaccinated, it is important to know your vaccination status. If you were born in 1957 or later and don’t have access to your vaccination records, you can schedule an appointment with UTA Health Services to perform a simple blood test (called a titer) that determines whether or not you are protected against the disease. Call UTA Health Services at 817-272-2771 to set up an appointment for testing or to get vaccinated.
