The City welcomes requests for programs and projects from community members to be considered for funding in the 2026 budget process. We accept requests for:

- Projects: one-time improvements to the community (e.g., missing sidewalk connection, trail connection, crosswalk improvement, etc.)
- Programs: an ongoing commitment to the community
​- Additional resources to an existing program or project

Submit your request by Monday, June 2.

Staff will review the requests to determine the feasibility, coordination with other projects, and anticipated cost for the requests, and present information to City Council. The requests and staff recommendations will be included in the "Community Requests" section of the budget. Council's decision on these requests will be reflected in the 2026 Adopted Budget document.

Applications are open for the Westminster Fire Department's second annual Flashover Fire Camp, a free two-day experience designed for young women ages 16-20. Participants will be able to connect with female firefighters, step outside of their comfort zone, and challenge themselves through physically and mentally demanding activities.
