UTA Libraries launches user experience survey

UTA Libraries is excited to announce the launch of a comprehensive user experience survey designed to better understand the needs, preferences and priorities of its patrons, including students, faculty, and staff. The survey is officially open.

The brief user-friendly questionnaire will take about 5-10 minutes to complete and asks participants about their awareness and use of library resources such as print journals, interlibrary loan services, and research services, as well as their preferences for library spaces and study environments. It also explores how users begin their research journey, whether through Google, the Libraries’ website, or other means.

Take the survey online now.

Locked out?

As a reminder, a lock-out fee and associated expenses will be now charged by Key Control to the person or department requesting the service. This change went into effect on Monday, Sept. 1.

This revised billing structure is designed to provide greater accuracy, transparency, and equity in service-related charges. Please be aware of the updated procedures for unlocking buildings.

If you ever need to contact Key Control for a locked office or other authorized area, response times may vary based on the priority of service calls and the availability of personnel. That's why you should always safeguard your keys and credentials to minimize the need for lockout services.

If you have questions about the new policy, please contact the UTA Police Department.
