Bailey Departs iHeart: iHeartMedia WMZQ/Washington, DC and WPOC/Baltimore APD/afternoon host Ty Bailey has departed. She joined WMZQ in 2017 from the PD/morning host job at Rock sister WXTB/Tampa, where she spent eight years (CAT 11/22/17). She previously did middays for Alternative stations WWDC/Washington, WCHH/Baltimore and WZNE/Rochester. iHeart Region SVPP Jeff Kapugi is seeking her successor. Reach him here.

Still Life: Country Radio Hall of Famer and Bonneville KNCI/Sacramento morning co-host Pat Still is retiring April 17. His current co-hosts, Cody Robinson and Joe Maumee, will continue with the show, which will be re-branded as Cody & Joe. Still's former co-host (and fellow 2024 Hall of Fame inductee) Tom Mailey retired last year (CAT 5/16/25). “To have had the opportunity to work with a Country radio icon like Pat Still was a career milestone for me," Bonneville Group Dir./Programming Chad Rufer tells Country Aircheck. "He’s a very special man who contributed a lot to our format and industry, and we’ll certainly miss him.”

Reve-News: Beasley reported Q4 2025 net revenues of $53.1 million, down 21.2% from $67.3m the same period last year. Operating income was $2.5m, down from $14.1m last year. The company reported a net loss of $189.1m, compared to a net loss of $2.1m the previous year. Net revenue for the full year 2025 was $205.9m, down from $240.3m in 2024. Last year saw a net loss of $196.5m, compared to a loss of $5.9m in 2024. "Against a persistently challenging advertising environment

Life Note: Industry veteran and Em.Co SVP/Radio Promotion & Marketing Jack Purcell shared on Facebook today (4/8) that he is battling end stage Polycystic Kidney Disease and is in need of a kidney transplant from a living donor. Purcell says that while his kidney function is at 15%, and he struggles with fatigue due to anemia, he is "able to go to work and carry on as normal." Chronicle: Mark Vizza, who parlayed an internship at Beasley's WXTU/Philadelphia into a more than 25-year radio career (almost 18 of those spent with Beasley), died April 1 at the age of 59. He added OM duties to his Dir./Marketing role at WXTU and Rhythmic sister WRDW in 2009 (CAT 7/22/09). After Beasley, he was Dir./Marketing & Events for Greater Media in Philadelphia, then Dir./Marketing for Forever Media in Wilmington, DE. Visitation is scheduled for tomorrow (4/9) from 9-11:30am, followed by a funeral Mass at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church in North Wales, PA.
