The July release of TSS is focused on delivering the core capabilities needed to support Fall 2026. As with any major system launch, you may encounter limitations, workarounds or functionality that continues to evolve as the system stabilizes.
The TSS team is actively reviewing reported issues and prioritizing fixes that affect critical university operations, so please use one of the established TSS support channels to ensure your request is tracked and directed to the right team.

TSS is now live and quickly evolving, and here's what you should know:
|
|
|
|
-
Student Error: If a student receives the message, "(de)-registration is not possible at the moment. Please try again later," their record is temporarily unavailable because it is being edited. Students should wait a few minutes and try booking again. Do not submit a SNOW ticket for this error.
-
Advisor Note: Opening Program Content temporarily makes the student's record unavailable for booking. To avoid interrupting students during enrollment, use Academic Work Overview whenever possible.
-
Due to the ongoing technical issues, all undergraduate first pass booking windows have been extended until August 14, 2026 at 10:59 p.m. Any booking windows that have already closed have been reopened and extended until that date. See the full update sent to undergraduate students on August 4.
-
Instruction Session Enrollment, the window that allows students to book up to 22 units, has been updated to begin on September 24, 2026. Beginning September 28, 2026, students can submit a TEA request to exceed the 22-unit limit.
-
TSS transactional totals will begin posting to Oracle Financials Cloud (OFC) during the week of August 17, 2026. Review additional details in our Postponing OFC Integration Deployment message.

We have many different resources and support channels set-up to assist staff, faculty and students with the transition to TSS.

- The Selective Major Application is separate from TSS and is open. The deadline to apply for a selective major (for continuing students only) is September 1. Visit Selective Major Guidance for additional information.

TSS Current Limitations & Known Issues: a living document that provides updates on some of the most frequently reported concerns and known issues with TSS.

|
|
Our top priority remains helping students successfully book their courses and resolving issues as quickly as possible. Here's how you can help keep that work moving:
|
-
Be Specific:
- Tell us who you are. Include your role and context to assist you swiftly. Examples: "I am a scheduler in Biological Sciences," "I am an undergraduate advisor in Eighth College," or "I am a faculty member."
-
Share as much detail as possible. Tell us what you were doing, what you expected to happen and what actually happened. Include screenshots or screen recordings when possible.
-
Report Only Once: Submit one ticket per issue, avoid follow-up check-ins unless you have new information, and close your ticket once resolved. These simple actions help us maintain an accurate view of active issues and focus our attention where it's needed most.
-
Use Official Channels for Updates: Use established communication channels for updates rather than contacting individual team members directly. When new information is available, we'll share it broadly. Bookmark the TSS: Current Limitations & Known Issues live resource as your first stop for updates on ongoing issues.
