First up is SUU Night at the Las Vegas Aviators, followed up the Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games Opening Ceremony, SUU Night at the Salt Lake Bees, Alumni Days at Shakespeare and last but not least, SUU Day at Lagoon. We hope to see you!

Jeff Tukuafu
Jeff Tukuafu Named Senior AD for Development
SUU Athletics has named Jeff Tukuafu as senior associate athletic director for development. In his new role, Jeff will lead the department's fundraising initiatives and play a vital role in enhancing resources and support for Thunderbird student-athletes.

Navajo Nation Practicum Experience
Future Teachers Gain Insight at Monument Valley
Several of our secondary education majors completed a unique practicum experience at Monument Valley High School, located within the Navajo Nation. The immersive week-long program aimed to equip future educators with a deeper understanding of culturally responsive teaching and its impact on student engagement and success.

Construction Management
Construction Management Team Wins First Place
SUU's Construction Management club achieved a historic first-place victory in the Design Build category at the Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) National Construction Management Competition in Reno, Nevada. This marks the first time Southern Utah University has won the competition since 2013.

Learning Lives Forever Virtual Event
The SUU Legacy Advisory Council invites you to participate in a Learning Lives Forever webinar with Daniel Blake, CEO of UI Charitable Advisors. Daniel's presentation, "Using Donor-Advised Funds to Achieve your Charitable Goals," will focus on donor-advised funds, how to use them, and the unique and tax-efficient use cases for a donor-advised fund. The webinar is free and open to all.
