This week week we feature Lauren Price Napier of the Price Sisters. Our September 2023 issue honors bluegrass legend Bobby Osborne. Lauren studied mandolin with Bobby and spent a lot of time creating over one hundred YouTube videos with Bobby and her husband Scott Napier under the title “Tremolo Tuesday.” We talk with Lauren about her career in bluegrass and her time spent with Bobby Osborne.

Learning A Fiddle Tune - Part 2

This is part two in a series of videos that discuss a method for easily learning fiddle tunes. In this segment, Dan Miller demonstrates the A part to the fiddle tune “Liberty” on the mandolin and talks about how to break the melody down into phrases and analyze the melody in a way that will make it easier for your to learn it and know it on a deeper level than just rote memorization.
