The best way to sustain the ministries of Wellspring is to make an online pledge. Your consistent giving allows us to plan ministries that transform lives. Your pledge is not the same as setting up a recurring giving method. Rather, it is your promise to support the church financially in the coming year. And it only takes a few minutes to set up!
Make your online pledge at wellumc.org/giving/pledge Thank you!
Note: Need a little help? You might try watching last year's tutorial video [click here]. And if you still have trouble, need a paper pledge card, or need further assistance, feel free to contact the church office and we'll be glad to assist you!

Important Notice Regarding 2025 Pledges Submitted Online
Did you receive an email last week from Pastor Jeff with the subject line of “2025 Pledge Check-In”, but you’re sure you’ve already submitted your pledge? We apologize, but due to a ShelbyNext issue, we’ve recently discovered some individuals may have encountered that exact situation. When an online pledge is submitted, ShelbyNext is supposed to generate two emails. The first is an automated response back to the person who submitted the pledge. The second email is a notification to finance@wellumc.org (Gwen Guzenski) and contains all the details regarding the pledge. Within a few days after the notification email is received by Gwen Guzenski, a more personalized email response is sent to the email address that submitted the pledge. If you submitted your pledge and didn’t receive an individualized response from either Denise Smith or Gwen Guzenski, it means that your pledge did not flow completely through the system. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you please send an email to finance@wellumc.org and include the following information about your 2025 pledge: 1. Amount each contribution, 2. Frequency of the donations, and 3. Total pledge amount for 2025. Thank you very much for your continued support of Wellspring UMC and its ministries!

On December 6th from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and December 7th from 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M, Wellspring UMC will join with First United Methodist Church of Georgetown to welcome the community to a Nativity Open House. |
This display of Nativities from around the world will provide all with the opportunity to prepare for the coming of Christ during this Advent season. The diversity of cultural depictions tells us that Jesus came for everyone and that people the world over are able to relate very personally to the nativity of God’s Son.
Wellspring invited FUMC to coordinate with us in providing this open house. They have graciously opened the McKinney Christian Ministry Center for the display. Please step up and volunteer to assist. We need volunteers to assist with planning and preparation, including publicity, the loan of displays, and hosts to provide a welcoming presence during the event.
This Open House will provide a wonderful way to share that all are welcome and we rejoice together the gift of God’s Son.
Please contact Janice Wallace, 512) 799-6654 or jwnoel19@yahoo.com
for more information on how you can participate.

Aging and…
Preparing for Loss,
Recognizing Grief,
and
Coping with the New Life Changes it Brings
|
Whoever said that growing older isn’t for wimps really knew what they were talking about! Sometimes it seems like our lives are constantly changing - from joints that give out with new limitation or new diagnoses, to the loss of old friends, to downsizing from a beloved home, and the greatest loss, the death of our loved ones. It seems like grief becomes our constant companion. Pastor Jeff will lead us to understanding loss and
grief as we age and healthy ways to cope with this time in our lives. Join us for this last Pathways to Peace of Mind workshop.
