GBRIA 2026 Educator Externship
|
The Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance's Educator Externship is a three-day immersion program that provides educators with "behind-the-gate" access to industrial facilities, allowing them to connect classroom curriculum with high-demand career pathways. Participants receive a $1000 stipend upon completion, as well as guided plant tours and live demonstrations of industrial operations and maintenance.

Building AI Literacy for Inclusion in STEM

The National Girls Collaborative Project has announced the launch of Building AI Literacy for Inclusion in STEM, a national landscape study designed to better understand the current state of AI literacy across STEM learning environments. The project will examine how AI is being introduced, where gaps and challenges exist, and what supports are needed to ensure access to AI learning.

Sea Grant Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship

The Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship provides a unique year-long experience in the legislative or executive branch of the federal government in Washington, D.C. During that year, recipients work on substantive national policy issues related to aquatic resources. Fellowships begin February 1 and run for one calendar year. Deadline for applications is June 3, 2026.

Summer 2026 LaSPACE Industry Internships
|
LaSPACE has announced a brand-new program that funds Louisiana undergraduate students to work with aerospace and aviation industry partners this summer. The Industry Internship Program was developed to increase workforce development opportunities in the form of industry internships for college students in Louisiana. Students enrolled in any institution of higher education in Louisiana, including community and technical colleges, will be eligible to apply for these internship opportunities. Applications are due April 17, 2026.
