Communities of Practice (CoP) |
START is excited to welcome back members of the CoP and also welcome new members! START is facilitating the following CoP in 2023-2024:

- Coaching CoP
- Early Childhood CoP
-
Peer to Peer CoP
- PFA-SBT CoP
- Secondary Transition CoP
- Sexual Health CoP
|
Each CoP now has a dedicated page on the START website. We invite you to review the information and meeting dates for each CoP and disseminate this information within your RCN.
If you have someone who is interested in joining a CoP (and was not previously a member), please have them submit this form (note: participation in the Coaching CoP and PFA-SBT CoP is by invitation only).
START will send information and meeting dates to members of each CoP this week. Please contact Andy West or the CoP lead(s) if you have any questions.

CETA: Updates and Name Change |
The CETA-R assessment was recently reviewed by the START team as part of our regular review process. We decided to make minor updates and adjustments to improve ease of use and clarity, and align with language changes.
|
- First, we are changing the name of the tool from CETA-R to the CETA to simplify how we communicate about the tool.
-
Second, the first page of the CETA document was updated including the purpose, benefits, and process for using the CETA.
- Third, the formatting of the second page of the CETA has changed to make the information more user friendly.
-
Fourth, minor changes were made to one indicator in the Peer to Peer section to align with edits in the Playbook and one indicator in the PBIS section to better describe Differential Reinforcement for a broad audience.
|
We will be offering more opportunities to learn about the CETA through trainings and creating additional guidance documents and resources to support its use. We hope these small changes will make the tool clearer and just a little easier to use!
