  • $5 - 2 balls
  • $20 - 4 balls

How It Works:

  • Once you purchase your golf ball, you will receive an email confirmation with your assigned number. 
  • During the Jaguar Classic on September 19, 1,000 golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter over the Golf Club of Texas.
  • The ball that lands closest to the hole wins.
  • All proceeds benefit Jaguar Athletics and student scholarships.

The VICEROY Scholars Program is now accepting applications from junior and senior cyber students for the fall 2025 semester. The program provides opportunities and resources designed to accelerate your cybersecurity career. Slots are limited, so applicants are encouraged to highlight their certifications, competition experience and leadership roles.

 

Program Benefits

  • Attend cybersecurity conferences, like Black Hat Las Vegas
  • Receive stipends for valuable industry certifications and advanced courses
  • Gain hands-on training, build a professional network, and represent the University on a national stage

Application Deadline: Sunday, Sept.14 
Eligibility: A
pplicants must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Accelerating Research Computing at Texas A&M University-San Antonio

A&M-San Antonio and Texas A&M University High-Performance Research Computing (HPRC) present a one-day, hands-on training workshop that is open to all students, faculty and staff. Spaced is limited, and registration is required. 

 

ARCATS training workshop topics Include:

  • Introduction to high-performance computing
  • Accessing the TAMU HPRC Launch Computing Resource
  • Introduction to the JupyterLab interface coding in Python and more.

Management Professor Receives Fulbright Specialist Program Award to Slovakia

Dr. Volkan Ozbek, assistant professor of management, has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Specialist Program award by the U.S. Department of State. This September, he will travel to the University of Presov in the Slovak Republic to collaborate on a project focused on global management practices and institutional partnership-building.

A&M–San Antonio welcomed over 1,200 incoming students during the ninth annual Jaguar March on August 20, marking the beginning of their academic journeys. Family, friends and community members joined in the celebration as students walked from the campus fountain to the Torre de Esperanza and back, where the festivities continued.
