A&M-San Antonio Earns National Recognition in Washington Monthly Rankings |
Texas A&M University-San Antonio has earned a spot among the nation’s top colleges in Washington Monthly’s 2025 College Guide and Rankings. Highlights include an impressive No. 8 ranking in Best Bang for the Buck (South), which recognizes colleges where students of modest means gain the greatest return on their investment. The University also placed No. 40 in the Master’s Universities category.

Weeks of Welcome Comes to a Close
|
Weeks of Welcome has wrapped up after energizing the campus with more than 50 events to kick off the fall semester. Highlights included the Disglow Paint Rave, involvement and job fairs, a lecture by actress Diane Guerrero and the debut of WOW! Bingo, which drew over 200 participants.

University Launches Interactive 3D Campus Map
|
To help students and visitors navigate campus with ease, A&M–San Antonio has launched an interactive 3D map featuring customizable options to highlight academic buildings, residence halls, parking, dining and more. This cutting-edge tool replaces static PDF maps and includes virtual tours showcasing campus activities and historical sites.

Jaguar Classic Raises Big Bucks |
A&M-San Antonio’s annual athletic scholarship golf tournament, the Jaguar Classic, was a huge success, raising a record-breaking $109,310, providing crucial support for student-athlete scholarships.
One of the event's highlights was the Jaguar Classic Helicopter Golf Ball Drop, presented by Herff Jones. Participants purchased golf balls, which were released from a helicopter hovering above the course. The two balls that landed closest to the hole won exclusive experiences at Ox Hunting Ranch in Uvalde, including the opportunity to drive a German Leopard tank.

Outstanding Senior Award Nominations |
Senior students graduating in Fall 2025 are eligible. Students must have a cumulative institutional GPA of 3.0 or higher. Multiple nominations for the same student are encouraged.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, Oct. 3.
