Dear Campus Community,
We are thrilled to announce the next phase of the Research and Graduate Studies Strategic Planning process and invite each of you to actively participate in shaping the future of PSU’s research enterprise. As part of this critical phase, we are hosting a series of open forums designed to gather insights, foster collaboration, and pinpoint strategic initiatives that will guide our efforts in the coming years.
Why Your Participation Matters
These forums are not just meetings; they are an opportunity for you to influence the direction of RGS. By sharing your experiences, challenges, and aspirations, you will help us identify innovative strategies and prioritize efforts aligning with our vision for success. Your voice is crucial in crafting a plan that truly reflects our diverse campus community.
The forums will utilize the dynamic World Café format, designed to foster open, creative dialogues on key strategic themes relevant to research and graduate studies. This approach allows participants to delve into discussions on areas they are passionate about, followed by a collaborative "harvesting" phase where key insights and actionable steps are collectively identified and documented. This engaging format ensures every voice is heard and contributes to our strategic direction.
Guiding Questions and Strategic Themes
Participants will explore themes such as Enhancing Graduate Student Education, Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Advancing Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Strengthening Research Operations, Support, and Infrastructure, among others. Guiding questions will steer conversations toward identifying challenges, opportunities, and actions in each area.
