Summer 2024 courses are now available in Canvas. If you are the instructor of record in Banner for a summer course, you should see that course in Canvas now. If you do not, check with your department to make sure you are listed as the instructor in Banner. If you still have issues, email helpdesk@uah.edu to get assistance.

Fall 2024 courses will be available in early June. 

UAH Trailblaze Team is holding a donation drive through May 3rd to raise money for Make-A-Wish Alabama. Please donate your gently used clothing and household items in the CTC or University Fitness Center parking lots.

All Paonpto videos that are not in protected folders will be archived in August. Please check with ETLC at helpdesk@uah.edu if you have videos you want to save and they are not in a designated Master or Parent course.

• Canvas support is available 24/7 via the Help link on the Canvas global navigation menu. Choose from the Email (Report a problem), Phone, or Chat options.
• Panopto Support is available 24/7 by calling 855.765.2341.
• Email helpdesk@uah.edu for a reply during University business hours.
• Call Classroom Support at 256-824-7700 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.

You can reuse content from a previous semester or master course by importing that content in a new course shell. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you get ready to copy content in your course(s) from another Canvas course:

• Old/outdated due dates can cause confusion for students so make sure to remove old due dates from the previous semester before you import your course. 
• If importing content from a course that previously used Zoom, please watch this video tutorial BEFORE importing your course content.
• Only need a few items from a previous course? Choose the import option to “Select Specific Content”. This will allow you to copy specific items without importing the things you don’t want.
• Contact helpdesk@uah.edu if you need any courses merged/cross-listed in Canvas.

ScreenPal, a very nifty video editing software, is now part of the SSO login process used across University-licensed software. 

On May 15, ScreenPal will be retiring their current Shutterstock premium stock assets library and introducing a new stock asset partner, Storyblocks.
 

UAH's Team license includes a new premium library of over 2.4 million video clips, 430,000 images, and 92,000 music clips and sound effects that are all royalty free and require no citation in your videos.
 

Our current or past video projects will not be affected. After May 15, you will still be able to edit and share all of their existing projects that contain the Shutterstock assets that are no longer available.
