Dear Parent,

 

I pray everyone had a wonderful Easter and break. Easter is such a beautiful celebration and gives all of us hope that in the darkest moments God is with us!

 

It is hard to believe we are moving into the last month of school. So much has been accomplished, and that is due to the efforts of so many. I know there are many people who contribute to the success of our school and make many sacrifices on our behalf. The commitment and time of our volunteers has a tremendous impact on what we are able to do. I was thinking about what we have because you, our parents, are willing to help.

Many on the list above would not happen without all of you. I cannot thank our volunteers enough for all the hours they give to our students, staff, and school and parish community. For all you do and are to all of us, I want to sincerely thank you!

 

To show our appreciation, please plan to join us next Wednesday, April 30, for our 8:15 Mass. There will be a special section for you to sit at that morning. The ushers will help you. This is a small way to thank you for all the jobs you take on to help or school.  Without your help we would not be able to accomplish everything we do. Thank you for your time, support, and cheerful help!

 

I would also like to thank our teachers, staff, and students. Throughout the year we are in need of volunteers to help with a variety of tasks. It is heart-warming to have so many come forward to get the jobs done in an efficient and timely manner.

 

As a principal I am humbled and grateful for all of our volunteers. There have been many acts of kindness and generosity this past year, and St. Vincent de Paul School is a better place for the involvement of so many. Thank you all!

Eighth Grade

Eighth grade graduation will be on Friday, May 16, at 5:00 P.M.  Please remember all of our eighth graders in your prayers these last few weeks as they finish up their time at St. Vincent de Paul School. They are a very talented and gifted group of students who will be wonderful assets to their high schools. They will be missed, but we wish them the best as they enter a new phase of their lives.

Parishioner Tuition for 2025-2026 School Year:

 

Annual Payments/Monthly Deposits Begin July 1

Family Responsibility + Parish Subsidy = Total Cost to Educate

Schedule for the Last Two Weeks of School 

 

Wednesday, May 14: Gr. 8 Celebration and Awards Mass @ 8:15 A.M.

- Grades 3-8 will attend 

- Grade 8 students will be in their graduation cap and gown.

- The Mass and the awards ceremony following the Mass will be livestreamed.

 

Thursday, May 15:  Last day for hot lunch; All students will need to bring cold lunch for Monday, May 19, Tuesday, May 20, and Wednesday May 21; No milk or water will be available on the cold lunch days.

 

 Friday, May 16 - No School – Teacher Inservice

- 8th Grade Graduation at 5:00 P.M.

 

 Monday, May 19:

• Grades 3-5 Field Day: 9:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.

• K-2: 12:00 P.M. - 2:30 P.M.

• Rain Day will be Tuesday, May 20.

 

Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, May 19, 20, & 21 - Full Days of School Grades K-7.

Wednesday, May 21 - Last Day of Preschool 

 

Thursday, May 22  - K-7 Last Day (Noon dismissal)

 

Friday, May 23 - Teacher Inservice

The yearbook staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you have great photos of school events, we'd like to see them. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.
