Senator Mark Pody had the pleasure of hosting a booth at the Wilson County Tennessee State Fair from August 14–23. The booth served as a welcoming space to connect with members of the community, and Senator Pody enjoyed speaking with fairgoers, vendors, and volunteers throughout the event. He was grateful for the opportunity to listen to concerns, share updates, and celebrate the values that make Tennessee strong.

On the final day of the fair, Senator Pody welcomed special guest Hank Erwin, former Alabama State Senator and key contributor to the film Woodlawn, which he worked on with his sons, the Erwin Brothers. Senator Pody enjoyed introducing him to attendees and sharing his inspiring story of faith and perseverance.

Senator Pody extends his heartfelt thanks to all the booth and fair volunteers who helped make this year’s Wilson County Fair a success. Your time, energy, and dedication played a vital role in creating a welcoming space for community conversations. Your support is truly appreciated!

 

Skylar Baird and Morgan Harter organized an inspiring event called Young Conservatives Day on the Hill, where Senator Pody had the opportunity to speak alongside notable leaders including former Speaker Beth Harwell, Dr. Ben Graham, Matt Murphy, Hannah Faulkner, and Pamala Furr from AFP. We were so excited to see the next generation getting involved and passionate about shaping Tennessee’s future.

Senator Mark Pody recently joined the Nashville Republican Women for a luncheon and enjoyed connecting with members and sharing a quick legislative update. He’s thankful for their continued support and strong commitment to conservative values.

Senator Pody attended the 48th Annual Statesmen’s Dinner, a great evening spent with Republican leaders and supporters from across Tennessee.

Senator Mark Pody celebrated the opening of Lebanon’s new sports complex, joining local leaders and community members for the special event. He’s excited to see this new space bring families together and support youth sports in the area.

Senator Pody also had the chance to enjoy a fun afternoon of bingo with local senior citizens at the senior center this month.

The Davidson County Election Commission is hiring a new Administrator of Elections, responsible for overseeing all elections and managing daily operations. This key leadership role includes supervising full-time staff and over 1,600 poll officials. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least five years of supervisory experience or equivalent qualifications. Strong communication and management skills are essential.
