The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) is inviting individuals who have benefited from its housing programs to share their stories and help show why these programs matter.

Hearing directly from Iowans who have experienced the impact firsthand is one of the most powerful ways to demonstrate the success and importance of the programs. 

Selected participants will receive $400 for their time and content contributions, following IFA approval. A brief application must be submitted by the program partner on behalf of the individual by January 26. IFA will review submissions and select a limited number of stories to feature in upcoming promotional efforts.

Homelessness Assistance Programs  

Share lived experiences that reflect how homelessness assistance programs have provided Iowans with a second chance and the foundation to thrive.

Federal Housing Tax Credits | HOME

Showcase the real-world impact of Housing Tax Credit and HOME developments through the voices of Iowans who live in them—our neighbors, teachers, child care providers and friends.

Project-Based Section 8 

Share how Project-Based Section 8 properties provide individuals and families with a safe, stable place to live.

State Housing Trust Fund  

Help tell the story of how State Housing Trust Fund investments are strengthening communities and expanding housing opportunities.

Homeownership  

Share with homebuyers who have used an IFA mortgage program to help us tell the story of how these programs put homeownership within reach.
