Fill Out Climate Survey by May 3; Prizes Available!
|
Creating and maintaining a community environment that respects the needs, abilities and potential of our campus community is critically important. We’re conducting a climate survey this spring to gather fresh information to aid us in that work. A survey to faculty and staff is available through May 3. Those who complete the survey will be eligible for prizes including a month of free parking; Kansas City Royals, KC Current and Sporting KC tickets; and faculty/staff development funding.
A note to staff: April is typically when staff expect to take the Pulse survey. However, these questions are included in the UMKC Climate Survey and will be reported to University of Missouri System Human Resources through the UMKC Climate Survey data. In short, participation in the UMKC Climate Survey is participation in the Pulse survey. Learn more

Join us on May 19 to commemorate our partnership with the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium. UMKC faculty and staff get 20% off admission that day when you show your UMKC ID. Hop on by the kangaroo exhibit see the new joey, Walt, who our student government helped name this spring. Walt’s name is, of course, inspired by Walt Disney, who drew the first UMKC Roo.
