The built environment makes up almost 40% of global greenhouse gas emissions due to carbon from making and using buildings. The AEC industry is aiming to achieve net-zero emissions, leading the industry to develop several tools and methodologies across jurisdictions to accomplish this mission. In the first session of our “Cutting Carbon” webinar series, we will introduce embodied carbon and its environmental impacts on the built environment and share strategies to reduce it in projects.
