I know that with the current job market, it can feel overwhelming to apply to 200–300 jobs, but it truly only takes one positive response to change everything. I stayed with my part-time job after graduation, and thankfully, my manager introduced me to another team for an open position. I highly recommend keeping in touch with former coworkers and managers; the few interviews I received were almost all through those connections. I also recommend continuing to apply to companies where you don’t know anyone -- you never know when you’ll be the right fit!
It can be stressful to feel like you aren’t making progress, but setting a daily goal for applications or emails helps keep the process manageable. I’m always happy to help, so please feel free to reach out at alexandra.gingerich@cbh.com.
