In a new course, TCU students learn what the landman profession entails in the real world — far beyond the drama on the hit TV show Landman, which provided hundreds of Horned Frogs with real-world film experience as extras and crew support during the show’s on-campus filming — and prepare for the field’s national certification exam. The course has attracted national media attention, including CBS News, and strong interest from students.  

Dr. Grant Fowler, chair of family medicine at the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at TCU, will become the next chief of medical staff for the county’s largest teaching institution and most comprehensive provider of behavioral health services.

Coach Gary Patterson is a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
