The nomination period is now open for the annual Schaefer School Education Innovation & Impact Awards. The details for the awards are below:

- These awards are for two faculty members with demonstrated innovation and impact in educating undergraduate and/or graduate students during the 2022-2023 academic year.

Nominations should be submitted by department chairs and/or SES faculty members (self-nomination is excluded). Nominations should include: (i) a letter from the nominator stating the merits and impact of the candidate, and (ii) the nominee’s CV. Nominations should acknowledge faculty members for their efforts including, but not restricted to, creating innovative teaching methods, new course and laboratory development, instructional delivery methods, course assessment and accreditation, insertion of learning technologies, retention of learning, new program development, and student engagement.
- Each awardee will receive a $1,000 after-tax cash prize and a plaque. The awards will be presented at the spring 2024 SES faculty meeting. Recipients of this award are not eligible for another nomination for a period of three years.
