CURRENT CRYPTO POLICY NEGOTIATIONS |
DEAR CONGRESS:
Let’s inject meaningful amendments and provisions.
Democrats and Republicans in both chambers of Congress are at an impasse on landmark crypto legislative packages. As contentious negotiations ensue, some founders, executives, entreprenuers in crypto have a list of demands:
✅ It is Small Business Week, so start by ensuring there's a regulatory pathway for startups, traditional small businesses to comply and become market leaders.
✅ It’s always the economy stupid, so greater investments in digital assets education and future workforce training are a must.
✅ Since the largest crypto adopters are individuals that have been locked out of traditional finance, we should authorize the institutions they trust - CDFIs, MDIs, CUs - to offer digital assets. These are the financial institutions likely to also offer risk mitigation services and deploy tools to consumers to help them combat scams and fraud.
The American public want solutions, not stalemates!
