Gratitude & Generosity Campaign Coming to a Close
|
Make your promise of support online or in church on Sunday |
During this year's campaign, we have meditated on the words from 2 Corinthians:
"All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people
may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.”
We have reflected on God's renewing love, and the healing power of the St. B's community. We invite you to make your promise of support by clicking the button below, or by placing a pledge card in the offering plate on Sunday.
We give thanks for God's ABUNDANT GRACE!

The Nashville You Need to Know will meet in Wallace Hall. Now that you know (About The Nashville You Need to Know), join for the capstone of the series and process together what we have learned and how we might be compelled individually and corporately to help our marginalized neighbors.
Also, The Prophet Isaiah: Comfort, Comfort My People will meet in the Gym Classroom.

Our recent Parents' Night Out brought a heartwarming full-circle moment. Katherine Wood Reeves, Julia Caruthers-Thorne Reed, and Allison Pichert Walker (and brand-new baby, Chloe) were able to enjoy dinner out with their husbands. Remarkably, all three were once youth at St. B’s themselves, and now the current youth are caring for their children.

Prayer for the Poor and the Neglected
|
Almighty and most merciful God, we remember before you all poor and neglected persons whom it would be easy for us to forget: the homeless and the destitute, the old and the sick, and all who have none to care for them. Help us to heal those who are broken in body or spirit, and to turn their sorrow into joy. Grant this, Father, for the love of your Son, who for our sake became poor, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
