Service of Hope and Healing
7:00 p.m. • Sanctuary
(and via Livestream, see the online bulletin for setting up a worship table at home)

As we enter the Advent/Christmas season, many feelings well up in us. Joyful Christmas carols seek to bring good cheer, yet for many experiences of grief and loss, anxiety and health concerns, depression and painful relationships are on our hearts.

Through scripture and prayers, candlelight and music, this service is for all people seeking hope and healing during this season. We invite you to bring a photo or other symbol of whatever is on your heart to this service, and place it in the candlelit windows, or hold it in the pew.

All are welcome to join us as we claim the promises of God in Emmanuel, God-with-us, and for Christ’s peace to make us whole.

You can “purchase” gifts from the participating groups in honor of family members and friends.

Our Generosity - a Fresh Perspective
Maybe it is easier to think of our generosity as not simply about what we give— but as the very heartbeat that sustains the life of our church and fuels the ministry to which we are called. Every gift, whether seen or unseen, ripples outward. It touches lives in ways we may never fully see. Without our financial support, the vital work we do here - out of love for one another and for those in need, simply would not exist. And now, as God is doing a new thing in our midst—calling us to deeper purpose and greater faith—our generosity becomes the foundation upon which we build the future of Westminster.
We invite you to see your generosity not just as a financial transaction but as an act of investment in the Kingdom of God. Each gift is a seed sown into a community that seeks to live out God's love, hope, and healing. When we give together, we become part of something far greater than ourselves in a world that desperately needs it. This advent, may we become agents of love and healing by thinking of our gifts as a profound act of faith; one that has lasting impact. Thank you for joining us in this work, as we trust in God's guidance and embrace the new thing God is doing right here.
"I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?" Isaiah 43:19
