Youth Service & Learning Trip
|
The youth had a wonderful trip to Maine last week. They created safe entryways and restored porches for B.J. and Jackie and helped B.J. finish painting her shutters. They had fun celebrating a birthday on the trip with a mini golf adventure and enjoyed evenings out on the lake. Special thanks to Jill Danford and Drew Sloss for making the week possible!

| What are you interested in? |
Recognizing that being in community is an important part of our life together at St. B's, we are making plans to launch new small groups in the fall.
So that we can best meet the needs of our people, would you take 5 minutes to fill out this survey letting us know of your general interest in small groups no later than Monday, July 30. We will plan to have formal sign-ups in September. If you have any questions about small groups or would like to talk more, please feel free to reach out to Rev. Heather.

| Can you help out on Sundays? |
Imagine sparking a child's faith journey! We need a few friendly faces to help chaperone during our children's homily each Sunday in the summer (this takes place during the sermon). Volunteer as a "Homily Helper" to experience the unforgettable wonder and delightful wisdom of our youngest members. Even just one Sunday makes a huge difference, and we promise it's a lot of fun! No experience necessary, just a willingness to share a little time and love. Click here to sign up and make a lasting impact.

| Calling Singers and Instrumentalists |
Summer is the perfect time to explore getting involved with the St. B’s Music Ministry. Whether you’re interested in singing with our Chamber Singers, joining a seasonal choir, or playing with one of our Sunday music teams, we’d love to connect. We’re especially looking for band instrumentalists—guitar, bass, drums, keys—but we welcome any instrument you bring to the table. Questions or ready to jump in? Reach out to Amy Wirdzek—we’d love to help you find your place in our music community!

Eternal God, you sent us Jesus, hope of the world, who came to us first as a child in poverty, who fled the threat of violence as a refugee. Help us to follow him through as servant leaders to bring your love and justice to children; through Jesus Christ your Child who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. |
