Recognizing Excellence and Collaboration at CC

Colorado College is striking a new rhythm in how we celebrate excellence. Beginning this year, the President’s Leadership Awards and the Just World Awards will now alternate annually at Spring Conference. This thoughtful approach allows each award to receive dedicated focus and year-round celebration. This year, we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on the President’s Leadership Awards and to honor colleagues whose leadership and impact inspire our community.

Do you know a colleague who demonstrates outstanding leadership, collaboration, or innovation? Recipients may be individual faculty or staff members, or groups of colleagues, who exemplify these qualities through their work as strong leaders, innovative role models, and community builders. Every day, members of our CC community go above and beyond, often in ways that aren’t widely recognized. The President’s Leadership Awards offer us the chance to bring those contributions to light. Nominate a colleague today and help us celebrate the leaders who shape Colorado College.

Nominations are now open through Friday, Oct. 31, at 11:59 p.m. MST, for all four award categories:

  • Brian Young Community Service Award
  • Victor Nelson-Cisneros Diversity and Inclusion Award
  • Glenn Brooks Innovation and Courage Award
  • Jane Cauvel Cultivating Collaboration and Community-building Award

The President’s Office, supported by a review committee of CC faculty and staff, leads the Presidential Leadership Awards program. Equitable practices are prioritized throughout the nomination and review process.
