As we approach the end of the academic year, the Parking Office would like to share a few important reminders and updates regarding parking permits and registration for the 2025–26 academic year.
Permit Availability and Fee Structure
Due to a limited number of available parking permits, distribution will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Please pay close attention to the registration opening dates, as permits tend to fill quickly.
Changes to the staff and faculty parking fee structure were outlined in an email sent by the Dean of the College on April 1.
Registration Dates:

- Staff and Faculty: Registration opens Monday, Jun. 9 at 8 a.m.
- Students: Registration opens Monday, Jul. 7 at 8 a.m. Please note: According to housing contracts, first-year students are not permitted to have vehicles on campus.

- Current staff, faculty, and student permits are valid through Sunday, Aug. 31.

Step-by-step instructions for permit and vehicle registration will be available on the Parking Office website once registration opens.
- Permit location options will be outlined on the parking map.

All permits will be available for pick-up in early to mid-August at Mail Services, located in the Yalich Student Services Building. You will receive an email when your permit is ready for pick-up.

Please be mindful when you select a preference for parking, knowing that it is not always possible to receive your first choice. The Parking Office will designate a location as close to your preference as possible.

Important Note on Vehicle Storage
Due to ongoing maintenance and events on campus, vehicles may not be left on campus for storage over the summer or during extended absences. If you are leaving campus and do not plan to take your vehicle with you, please make arrangements for off-campus storage.
Parking enforcement is active 24/7, 365 days a year, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Citations may be issued for any violations.
