Summer Water Meter Upgrade & Disruptions
Dear Campus Community,
This summer, we will be initiating a water meter change-out project as part of our ongoing maintenance program. This project will impact various meters across campus, consequently affecting the domestic water supply to buildings. During this process, buildings involved may experience a temporary water termination lasting approximately 1 to 2 hours.
To minimize the impact and facilitate better planning, we will provide a 2-3 day notice to the affected buildings. Depending on the location and complexity of the work required for the meter change-out, some buildings may be affected to a greater extent. Residence Halls will not be affected, however, the Dining Commons will experience a temporary water shut down for a short period of time during maintenance. We will be posting signs on unavailable restrooms prior to work being done.
We understand that this may cause inconvenience for some of you, and we apologize for any disruption caused. However, considering the limited duration of the summer break, it is essential that we begin this project promptly.
