This Sunday, September 7, we begin a new season of Christian formation for all ages. Whether you’re 3 or 93, there’s a place for you to grow in faith, deepen your understanding of Scripture, and connect with our church community. Here’s a look at what’s being offered this fall:
🟢 Children’s Formation
Level I (Ages 3.5–Kindergarten)
Our youngest learners are welcomed into the atrium, where they begin to experience the wonder of God’s love. This fall, they will discover that Jesus is the Good Shepherd who knows, loves, and cares for each of His sheep. Through hands-on activities and prayerful work, they learn how to live in God’s presence.
Level II (1st–3rd Grade)
In this age group, children begin to see the bigger picture of God’s plan. We’ll explore the image of the True Vine and what it means to live in community, deepen our understanding of the liturgy and sacraments, and connect Scripture stories to God’s unfolding story of salvation.
Level III (4th–6th Grade)
Older children are ready to wrestle with big questions of faith and life. This fall, we’ll journey through salvation history—from Creation to Christ’s return—and reflect on what it means to live with responsibility, justice, and service in response to the Gospel.
🟡 Youth Formation (Grades 7–12)
Our youth will be diving into a new series called Let Them Cook, which explores leadership in both the Old and New Testaments. Together, we’ll look at how faithful leaders listened to God, guided their communities, and shaped the life of the Church, all while asking what this means for young people called to lead today.
🔵 Adult Formation
Why the Mystics Still Matter Now (Part 2)
Led by Greg Voiles, this class continues the journey begun in Why the Mystics Matter Now. Together, we’ll explore the lives, practices, and teachings of Christian mystics—both within and beyond the Anglican tradition—and discover how their contemplative wisdom speaks into our own time and struggles.
In the Beginning...
Why do we have four Gospels, and what makes each one unique? Join Fr. Josh and Dr. Ricky Shinall as they guide us through the opening passages of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Together, we’ll uncover how each Gospel shapes our understanding of Jesus and the Good News for our lives today.
