 Dear Rotarians,

As we’ve seen in the headlines, the communities in and around Kerrville, Texas were devastated by flooding earlier this month. Our Rotary Club of Oklahoma City Board and the Rotary Club 29 Foundation Board have approved the contribution of $10,000 of disaster relief funds to Rotary District 5840’s Disaster Relief Fund to support the relief efforts that will continue in the days, months, and years ahead. 

Below you will find a link to make a donation and match our contribution to their relief efforts. Our Foundation will be accepting contributions through August 8, 2025. All funds received in support of the flooding will be added to funding committed by our Foundation.

"It's one of the only places in the world I can go where I don't need my wheelchair." So says Bill Bogdan, describing the joy of scuba diving. Eager to share the experience, Bogdan volunteers with Diveheart, a nonprofit run by a pair of Rotarians that introduces people with an array of disabilities to adaptive diving. For this issue of Rotary magazine, we spent a few days at a Diveheart training pool to see the excitement up close.
