| February 2024 Teacher of the MonthIn cooperation with the Mayor's office and City Council, the Rotary Club of Okla. City recognizes an outstanding teacher in our community
Lauren Dile, Kindergarten teacher in Edmond Public Schools, has been named Teacher of the Month for February 2024, and was 2023 District Teacher of the Year for Edmond Public Schools,
Lauren received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with Special Distinction from the University of Oklahoma, is an Apple Certified Educator and a Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling Certified Educator. Lauren has made it her mission to make every student feel valued and loved for who they are, to help all students achieve high levels of learning by all means, and to equip her fellow educators with the knowledge and empathy they need in order to accomplish the same.
Lauren Dile was presented with a certificate of recognition as well as a $500 gift from the Rotary Club 29 Foundation AND a $500 gift from the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation in partnership with the American Fidelity Foundation.
